In the hydroelectricity sector, monitoring and displaying data is essential to guarantee the smooth operation of installations. JM Concept has developed the XALIS 9000 range, a series of high-precision digital indicators for conditioning electrical signals. They provide analog and digital transmission of various signals, and feature a two-color display.

These devices enable real-time monitoring of critical installations, giving operators greater responsiveness.

Our indicators are designed to display data from industrial sensors, and are intuitive to read thanks to a system that changes color when predefined thresholds are exceeded.

Using our devices on the Eguzon dam

Located on the Creuse River, the Eguzon hydroelectric dam is a key element in the production of renewable energy in France. With an installed capacity of 70.6 MW, it produces the equivalent of the annual consumption of 41,000 people.

EDF chose to install our XALIS 9000U1 indicators to monitor the position of the floodgates. A change in floodgate position corresponds to the opening or closing of the gates, which are used to regulate the flow of water discharged from the dam when the water level rises.

These indicators enable operators to visualize critical positions in real time, and to react rapidly in the event of abnormal variations. The ability to change the color of the data displayed is a major asset for efficient and accurate monitoring.

Customer focus: EDF Cuzion

EDF Cuzion is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Eguzon hydroelectric dam. As part of their policy of optimizing hydroelectric infrastructure monitoring, they called on JM Concept to integrate XALIS 9000U1 devices.
