Focus on our JK 0030A1 process isolator applied to Water Treatment

Focus on the JK 0030A1 single-channel loop isolators.

While our JKA range is specially designed to isolate 0...4...20 mA current loops, our JK 0030A1 isolators have a universal input and an analogue output. These devices can be used to isolate two separate sections of a circuit. This operation, which is specific to voltage signals, allows the electrical signal to pass through. The data is therefore protected from any electromagnetic interference.

Use of our devices in water treatment

Angers Loire Métropole has chosen to use our JK 0030A1 single-channel process isolators in the La Baumette water treatment plant managed by VEOLIA. They help to ensure that the sludge treatment process runs smoothly. These devices were installed to isolate the PLC's analogue cards in order to protect the signals from any parasitic noise potentially injected into the circuit. By ensuring the accuracy, reliability and safety of the sensor measurement, our JK 0030A1 isolators, mounted on our BL08DLV boards and integrated into cabinets, play an essential role.

112 devices mounted on 14 BL08DLV Baselines were integrated into the electrical cabinets managing the wastewater treatment process.

Customer focus Angers Loire Métropole, STEP de la Baumette

In 2020, Angers Loire Métropole chose to optimise the Station d'Epuration de la Baumette in order to reduce its energy consumption. Thanks to the adoption of a biofiltration system and the redesign of the drying workshop, this has now been achieved! Reducing the amount of water in the sludge also reduces the mass to be transported. As a result, the quantity of greenhouse gases released is reduced.
