Development support mission in China
JM Concept equipment all over the world
At JM Concept, we design, manufacture and market electrical signal conditioning devices. Our devices are installed all over the world! To sell them, we rely on our team of permanent and travelling sales representatives! We work with integrators, installers, end operators and distributors. We visit them regularly, because we're convinced that this strengthens and facilitates our relationships. This also enables us to understand the different markets and their constraints, and to grasp the culture of the countries concerned.
Support for our Chinese distributor
It was against this backdrop that one of our Industrial IT and Electronics engineers, Imad EL MASOUDI, went to #China for nearly 2 months on a local support and after-sales service mission for one of our major distributors: FURUN! His mission consisted of assisting in the creation of a test bench for two of our product ranges, TELIS transmitters and XALIS indicators, as well as the creation of a sales presentation kit that needed to be improved. Of course, Imad also had to train the technical operators in the specific features of our equipment.
The mission of our Industrial and Electronic Computing engineer
After the discovery and immersion phase necessary for the smooth running of his mission, during which he met the teams, collected their technical requirements and discussed their expectations, Imad was able to begin the technical study enabling him to build the various product benches.
- The creation of a movable test bench, optimised in terms of operator ergonomics, for our "TELIS transmitters" and "XALIS indicators", in terms of both the design of the support and the software programming.
- The production of a product presentation kit, which had to be modified, particularly in terms of the possibilities for customer demonstrations. Some products were raised, and 3 potentiometers, 1 weight sensor and a PT100 wire were added.
Assessment of this trip to China
In addition to the complete and total satisfaction of our Chinese distributor, this trip was beneficial for several reasons. It enabled us to strengthen our ties with the FURUN teams, through constructive exchanges, time spent sharing personal experiences, and the empathy shown by each of the protagonists. Technically, the solution provided meets the expectations of the distributor perfectly, who will be able to test and promote our equipment with greater peace of mind as long as it is under control. At JM Concept, we have been able to identify technical improvements to be made and we are delighted with this, as we are always looking for ways to improve. We are delighted with this enriching experience and would like to warmly thank our collaborator Imad and our Chinese distributor FURUN. This visit strengthened the quality of our exchanges and will be one of many to come.
