The JK30A1 loop isolator applied to water quality control

This device is a single channel isolator with a 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA process input and a 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA current output.

It offers triple galvanic isolation 2500 Vac 1mn 50 Hz.

Within the framework of the production of drinking water, EAU DE PARIS uses different methods of water treatment, including chlorination. Chlorine is added in two stages:

• In final disinfection of the plant
• At the outlet of the tanks

And it is done at a rate of one drop per 1000 litres of water.

Chlorination of water ensures its quality during transport to the tap. It protects the water from potential bacteria that might be present in the pipes to the home.

For water quality control, Eaux de Paris uses JK0030A1 isolators to isolate the sensor signal from the pump on the chlorine dosing process.
