New ULCOS: a technological breakthrough for improved heat resistance
ULCOS: A Universal Transmitter with a Harmonized New Design
At JM Concept, product evolution is not limited to electronic performance. The company is now updating the design of its ULCOS universal transmitter, featuring a new fully black housing with a blue accent on the latch, in line with its visual identity.
This aesthetic evolution is part of a broader product range harmonization strategy, already initiated with the XALIS indicator and the TELIS transmitter.
Behind this visual change also lies an important technical improvement: a new housing material offering enhanced thermal performance.
A New Design to Harmonize the JM Concept Transmitter Range
With its new design, ULCOS now adopts the visual codes of other JM Concept products.
The main objective is to deliver a consistent, readable, and easily identifiable product range in industrial environments. The black housing with a blue accent strengthens brand consistency while modernizing the product’s appearance.
This evolution currently concerns:
- the XALIS indicator
- the TELIS transmitter
- the ULCOS universal transmitter
ULCOS: A Compact Universal Transmitter for Signal Conditioning
The ULCOS is a universal signal conditioning transmitter designed to meet industrial needs in a simple and efficient way.
It features:
- a universal input compatible with a wide range of applications
- USB-based programming with a dedicated gateway for easy configuration
- reliable analog outputs for fast system integration
- a compact 17.5 mm housing, optimizing space in control cabinets
- DIN rail mounting for fast and standardized installation
Thanks to its ease of use and versatility, ULCOS provides an accessible solution without compromising reliability.
A New Thermally Resistant Housing for Improved Thermal Performance
In addition to the aesthetic update, JM Concept has upgraded the housing material used for ULCOS devices.
Several materials were tested to identify the most suitable solution for demanding industrial environments. The selected material significantly improves the product’s thermal resistance, enhancing its durability in harsh operating conditions.
For this development, JM Concept partnered with its new local supplier G’Plastit, based in Avignon, recognized for its professionalism and responsiveness.
Made in France Manufacturing for Full Quality and Production Control
Like all JM Concept products, ULCOS is designed and manufactured in France, in Brignais near Lyon.
This local manufacturing approach ensures full control of the industrial process, from design to production, while guaranteeing quality, responsiveness, and technical support.
