JM Concept equips Pochet du Courval's new electric oven

Tradition, innovation, and energy performance

A historic player in the Luxury industry, the Pochet Group is internationally recognized for the exceptional quality of its perfume and cosmetic bottles.

At its Guimerville site, located in Normandy, the company perfectly combines tradition, innovation, and industrial performance within a fully automated plant capable of producing nearly one million bottles per day.

As part of its global decarbonization plan, the Group recently invested in a new electric furnace — a major step forward to reduce CO₂ emissions while maintaining flawless production quality.

The challenge: ensuring reliable temperature control

The temperature control of glass is a critical parameter in the bottle manufacturing process. In this new electric furnace, numerous temperature sensors continuously monitor the process.

For Pochet Group, the challenge was twofold:

  • To provide galvanic isolation between the various furnace zones to prevent electrical interference.
  • To ensure accurate and reliable transmission of temperature data to the control system.

The JM Concept solution: TELIS9000 galvanic isolators

Thanks to close collaboration with our local technical partner, the Pochet teams chose JM Concept’s TELIS9000 galvanic transmitters.

Each heating element of the furnace is connected to a TELIS9000, which:

  • Electrically isolates the signals from the thermocouples,
  • Filters electromagnetic disturbances inherent to demanding industrial environments,
  • Reliably transmits measured values to the PLC responsible for temperature regulation.

According to the client, “only the TELIS9000 ensures a stable, interference-free signal transmission under these production conditions.”

Results: precision, stability, and contribution to decarbonization

With the performance of the TELIS9000 transmitters, the electric furnace’s temperature control is now:

  • Reliable and continuous, ensuring consistent glass quality,
  • Electrically safe, thanks to effective galvanic isolation,
  • And aligned with the Group’s environmental goals, optimizing the process’s energy efficiency.

This project perfectly illustrates the complementarity between high-precision measurement technology and energy transition, serving the Luxury manufacturing industry.
