As part of the modernization of its drinking water stations, Eaux du Grand Lyon recently called on SOC and JM Concept to optimize the management and safety of its facilities.
The objective?
To enhance the reliability of measurements while ensuring the galvanic isolation of signals from its field sensors. To achieve this, the teams deployed the JK2001-F, a self-powered galvanic isolator designed and manufactured by JM Concept.
Greater Lyon's drinking water stations are critical facilities, where measurement quality and equipment robustness are essential. The need focused on two types of sensors commonly used in instrumentation:
These sensors deliver analog signals that must be isolated and protected before being processed by the supervisory controllers. It is in this context that the JK2001-F, a high-precision galvanic isolator, was integrated.
The JK2001-F is an electrical signal conditioning device designed to galvanically isolate measurement loops. It offers several key advantages for water network operators:
Thanks to this solution, data from the field is transmitted securely and accurately, ensuring optimal operation of the installations.
This application perfectly illustrates JM Concept's expertise in industrial automation and instrumentation in the water sector. In collaboration with SOC, the project's technical integrator, the teams were able to offer a reliable solution adapted to the environmental and technical requirements of drinking water stations.
We would like to warmly thank Eau du Grand Lyon for their trust and our partners for their commitment to this project.
