Le Convertisseur analogique numérique TELIS9000U1-VW pour la gestion des réseaux d'eau

The TELIS9000U1-VW Analogue to Digital Converter for water system management

The TELIS 9000U1-VW analogue to digital converter is a product specially designed for the application planned by the Syndicat des Eaux D'Ile-de-France.

It is a variation of the TELIS 9000 and has some common features:

  • Variable resistance thermometer
  • Thermocouple
  • Potentiometer
  • 2-wire resistor
  • Special table for NTC PTC
  • Quadruple isolation galvanique 3750 Vac 1mn 50 Hz
  • 24-bit conversion for inputs and 16-bit conversion for outputs
  • Cold junction compensation accurate to +/- 1°C

The specificity of the TELIS 9000U1-VW converter: 1 universal input including 4-wire PT100

The Syndicat des Eaux D'Ile-de-France uses TELIS 9000U1-VW to isolate its various sensors for water network management, leak detection and remote network monitoring.

The key points of this project

  • The Syndicat des Eaux D'Ile-de-France already has an excellent network yield. But it wants to improve it even further thanks to the sectorisation of drinking water networks, which makes it possible to monitor the volume consumed per network more closely, and thus to define priorities for action and improve the operator's responsiveness (repairing leaks for example).

The sectorisation project is spread over 5 years. The design and installation of the cabinets is entrusted to SATELEC. The aim is to control the flows and pressures in each sector created in the territory monitored by the Syndicat des Eaux D'Ile-de-France.

The 1st cabinets were installed in 2019, so the project runs until 2024. Inside these cabinets are integrated the TELIS 9000U1-VW for pressure control and flow measurement on the Syndicat des Eaux D'Ile-de-France network.
