Focus on ULCOS 620I2 AC current or voltage input transmitters

Our range of ULCOS 600 AC current or voltage input transmitters is designed to measure, isolate, convert and transmit an AC source signal. Featuring triple galvanic isolation, our devices convert AC current or voltage signals at the input into analog signals at the output. Depending on the model, they can also be fitted with relay outputs.

Use of our devices in the Oiry glass manufacturing plant

Our devices are integrated inside cabinets on a glass temperature control process on 3 production lines in one of Vérallia's 7 glass manufacturing plants in Oiry. Our transmitters acquire the alternating current measurement from temperature sensors. This measurement is then isolated and converted into an analog signal for transmission to the PLCs managing the temperature control processes.

This glassworks uses electrodes to measure alternating current variations via the electrical conductivity of the molten glass. This technique takes advantage of the relationship between electrical conductivity and temperature. By measuring alternating current variations in response to changes in conductivity, it is possible to accurately deduce temperature changes in molten glass. This method offers significant advantages in terms of accuracy and robustness in demanding industrial environments.

In this way, our signal conditioning devices contribute to the smooth running of the plant.
